We know creating change requires people and communities to connect, relate, and collaborate across difference. So, what does it take to sustain positive change when we live within the social, political, and economic systems that we seek to transform?
- It takes engaging the voices of people from different backgrounds and ensuring we can all Be Present at the table!
- It takes effectively and compassionately addressing issues of race, gender, class, sex, sexuality, age, religion, nationality, and other intersecting axes of identity.
- It takes us all, learning to speak up, listen well, and work for justice in our daily lives.
The network training introduces the Be Present Empowerment Model® and provides tools for emerging our voices outside the distress of oppression and listening to others with conscious, present attention. Let’s partner to create a just world in which ALL people thrive!
