Be Present® Scholarships
It is important that money does not create a barrier to anyone attending a Be Present® event or program. We are committed to having participants that represent a broad spectrum of our diverse communities. All participants contribute to and benefit from these experiences. General donations and scholarship donations (including to one of the specific scholarship funds below) ensures equal access to Be Present’s programs. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Pam M. Dunn Scholarship Fund for Black Women and Girls
Be Present is pleased to establish this scholarship to honor the life of Pam Dunn. Pam was a treasured member of the Be Present community and a powerful presence in the lives of many people across generations. Through her work with Be Present, Pam brought deep care, humor, honesty, and love to the work of helping people connect more fully with themselves and one another.
For many years, Pam worked with young people, educators, families, and communities to create spaces where people could speak honestly, listen deeply, and feel less alone. She had a rare gift for meeting people exactly where they were. Pam also contributed to the work and curriculum of Be Present, Inc., bringing her gifts as a facilitator, teacher, learner, and community member to our shared practice.
